Benefits Brokers Exchange is a new name for a company that has been in existence for 55 years. It was founded by the Hale family in 1949 and continues today under the leadership of Charles R. Hale, President and CEO.

Charles R. Hale sold his first life insurance policy in 1965 in Nacogdoches, Texas. A forty-two year veteran of the business, he now specializes in helping other agents find products, solutions and service with our fifty different insurance companies. Mr. Hale is a life and qualifying member of the MDRT and has written several trade articles for insurance related magazines.

Julie E. Hale serves as the Worksite Marketing Sales Manager. She has been in the insurance business since 1996, and is responsible for marketing the products to the agents and the clients as well as assisting with presentations and enrollments. She graduated with honors from Hollins College in Roanoke, Virginia and currently holds a General Lines license (Life, Accident, Health, and HMO).

Jim Olenbush, CLU is a second generation Houstonian and has been in the Life insurance business since 1958. He has served as Agent, Broker, Agency Manager, Field and Home office Vice President, and he will always help find the right company and right product. He likes helping our Brokers "MMM"; Make More Money!

Mike M. Marquez serves as Director of Operations.   He has been in the insurance industry since 1994, and he is responsible for agent case design and tech support.   Mike has served as a Marketing Director, Case Manager, P&C/ Life & Health Agent and currently holds a General Lines license  (Life, Accident, Health, and HMO)
